A significant part of IDEC@EUDEC 2025 is our open space program, where participants of all ages co-create an amazing conference experience. We’d love to hear your input:

Sessions you’d like to offer:
What workshops, lectures, or activities would you or your co-registrants like to offer? Please indicate which person from your registration would give each session. It’s not binding—whether or not you actually give the session at the conference is up to you. This information may be shared publicly (on the website, in informational emails, at the conference, etc.) without mentioning names. If we wish to include your workshop in the program with your name, we’ll ask for your permission.

Workshop, lecture & activity requests:
What topics would you like to learn about? Which activities would you love to participate in? Your input will inspire the organizers other participants to offer workshops. This information may also be shared publicly (on the website, in informational emails, at the conference, etc.) without mentioning your name.

Other ideas and wishes:
If you have any other ideas or wishes regarding activities, materials to provide, the layout of the venue, or anything else, we’d love to hear them so we can take them into consideration.

We are committed to making IDEC@EUDEC 2025 accessible to everyone. Please let us know your accessibility needs, whether they relate to language, parental needs, physical accessibility, communication, or any other support. Together, we’ll ensure everyone can fully participate in the conference.

Language accessibility

The main conference language is English. However, we understand that not everyone is equally comfortable speaking or understanding English. You can indicate if you would like language support and which languages you speak. We’ll help connect you with other participants who can assist with informal translation. While we cannot provide professional translation services, we aim to create a supportive multilingual community where everyone can participate meaningfully.

Parent Accessibility & Childcare

We support parents to fully participate in the conference:

• Volunteer group childcare is available for children up to 6 years old during daytime workshop hours.
• For individual childcare needs (for babies, during evening workshops, or …), we can connect you with other conference participants who are willing to provide one-on-one care while you attend a workshop. Once connected, you can arrange the details directly with them.
• (Older) children are warmly welcomed to participate in the open space program, which includes also various fun activities, or to play freely on the venue.

This creates a caring community where parents can join sessions of their choice while knowing their little ones are in good hands.

We believe financial circumstances should not prevent anyone from participating in IDEC@EUDEC 2025. Your contribution will directly reduce the conference fee for another participant who faces financial barriers.

When making a donation, you directly support fellow educators, parents, and students who would otherwise be unable to attend. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps create a more inclusive conference.
